Cowell's surprise 50th birthday bash

Can you believe he is 50???? Simon Cowell's 50th birthday bash was a star-studded affair with celebrities including Amanda Holden and Myleene Klass. All 150 guests were asked to wear white for the party in Holland Park, west London.
Cowell, who is not 50 until October, turned up thinking the event was purely for his ex-girlfriend Jackie St Claire who is celebrating her 50th birthday. But it was turned into a double celebration.
His fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue serenaded him with a performance of the Carly Simon song You're So Vain.
Piers Morgan, Cowell's fellow Britain's Got Talent judge was among the guests, as were the BBC's One Show host Christine Bleakley and TV presenter Dani Behr.

Katie Price has blamed Peter Andre for their marriage collapse in an explosive TV interview.

The model, 31, broke down in tears in front of Piers Morgan as she made the astonishing attack on the heartbroken singer.

In the interview Katie hits out at Pete for walking out on their three-year marriage.

Her claims have already led to a furious bust-up between the warring couple with Peter’s incensed lawyers apparently ready to take action.

A TV source said: “Katie is fed-up with the public backlash against her.

“Unfortunately though, her version of events is rather different to Pete’s.”

We all knew it was going to be explosive and controversial, but there were still elements of Katie Price's interview with Piers Morgan that we weren't expecting. The model initially came across as quite hard, but was happy to acknowledge this, telling Piers she knew what people at home would be thinking about her. Talking about the split from husband Peter Andre, Katie confessed she hadn't cried yet, and that even her closest friends found that "disturbing".

She seemed to us as if she was, in actual fact, hurting a lot, and at times we even felt uncomfortable watching her. We felt really sorry for her. She is a 31 year old woman, and having a night out now and then doesnt make you a bad person. People really do need to stop being judgemental as the reality of the situation is unknown to us all and no one really knows how they would be in this situation. The only difference with us normal people, is we are not in the public eye! Pete has come out of this smelling rosy, but after the interview last night, we hope people realise that there is always 2 sides to every story. However at the end of the day, who judge. Katie Price has vowed to "set the record straight" about her split from husband Peter Andre in a new televised interview with Piers Morgan.





The model pulled out of an appearance on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross shortly after the break-up was announced in May, but pals say she's now ready to spill the beans.





The interview, which will be aired on Saturday 11 July on ITV1, (DO NOT MISS IT!!) is expected to be mainly focused on the reasons behind the break-up, with Katie telling pals, "I'm going to tell him everything." A source from the ITV show said today, "She knows he [Piers] will not give her an easy ride, and this is going to be an explosive interview that is sure to upset Andre. But she feels at the moment that most people are on his side and she wants to set the record straight and say things from her point of view."

It had previously been reported that the former journalist would reprise his dialogue with Price after she appeared on his Life Stories chatshow earlier this year.

A post on Morgan's official website confirmed: "This will be the first time either of the couple have officially spoken out about their spilt and Piers will be quizzing Katie on the reasons behind the breakdown of their nuptials.
"After her recent trip to Ibiza which was covered heavily by the media, Katie will definitely be keen to stick up for herself, so make sure you tune in as it is going to be lively!"

Piers was one of the only people who came out in defence of Katie when her break-up was announced. We actually cannot wait to hear what she has to say.
