Wednesday Cheap Thrills: Sailor Style

Hi all! Hope everyone is having a great week! Today's edition of cheap thrills is themed - Sailor Style! Nautical Nonsense, whatever you want to call it.

I've seen tons 'o nautical themed clothing and accessories making their way out for spring. Now, the set below is a hodgepodge of sailor style, I highly advise against wearing many of these items at the same time! That would be a wee bit much. We won't want to confuse sailor style with Halloween!

Nautical Trend

The crisp, clean lines. Navy Stripes. Anchor necklaces. Ahh...

It's not even a "trend" since it's been around for ages starting (think Coco Chanel).

Like most themes it's nice in moderation. But I prefer it as an accent piece to make an outfit more interesting, either on my shoes, blouse or better yet handbag.;)

The bf got me a fabulous Nautical Striped Duffel bag for my birthday. I LOVE the metallic anchors printed on it and also the gold chains which hang from it.
