Today's edition of Cubicle to Cocktails features the iconic shirtdress. Shirtdresses can be tricky sometimes - they are deceivingly "easy" to wear, just throw it on and button up. However, the hem, the fit, the color, the sleeve, etc. can all make or break the look of this sweet little number.
I'm a big fan of this Micheal by Michael Kors printed shirtdress, it's 100% silk and super versatile (albeit a bit casual for some of your work environments). By pairing it with a fancy pants belt and some standard nude slingbacks, the dress becomes more office appropriate - just watch the length! As for cocktail attire, unbutton a button and sport some chunkier jewelry and supa tall wedges. You could also skip the belt completely, throw on some comfy flats and hit a party on the beach in a snap. Can we say, fourth of July?!

Daniel Vosovic Takes Project Runway Win to NYFW
Daniel Vosovic's win on Project Runway's All-Star Challenge not only boosted his image, but is helping him get to New York Fashion Week in February. He's using the money he earned to fund his trip and he's hoping to make this all worth while.
His Los Angeles win on Aug 20th was a big one because he was up against Project Runway allstars from the past and $100,000 was at stake. Daniel also confirmed what many fans were worried about....the Project Runway network move.
Project Runway's move from Bravo to Lifetime made no difference....nothing changed. According to Daniel. "It was the same runway, the same crappy lighting. Tim was there, Michael, Nina, and Heidi Klum was pregnant again. Nothing had changed."
And Daniel is right, the Project Runway scene was the exact same, the only change was scenery, form New York of Los Angeles. Everything else was the exact same.
