Cart Ditching & Sale Stalking at The Limited

Hi everyone! I don't typically post on the weekend, but some sales are worth stalking. Does anyone else shop a retailer, fill up a cart and abandon it? I seem to do that often. Cold feet? Maybe. Preemptive cognitive dissonance (shopper's remorse)? Probably.

Regardless, I cart ditched at The Limited even though they are running a great promotion and have a stellar sale section to boot. Per Ms. Chloe, The Limited is offering the following sweet promos through 06/17/2010:
  • Take $30 off your purchase $90+ or $20 off of your purchase of $60+: Code 516
  • Take 20% off your entire order, including sale: Code 165
  • Take 30% off almost all dresses, no code necessary, prices as marked.
Also, most (if not all) scarves are 50% off and The Limited has some lovely, lovely scarves. Below are a few things that I may or may not have cart ditched...happy shopping!

Etsy Love for Gruhche & Exercise Motivation Rolled Into One

Hey everyone! If you follow me on Twitter, you would have read yesterday that my Etsy package came! I ordered a stunning skirt and gorgeous dress from the gruhche etsy shop - the designer, Vera (Deep In Vogue), is just as sweet as she is talented. I'm a big fan of Etsy, as I believe in supporting independent (and local) talent!

I didn't have a ton of time, but I wanted to snap a few IRL photos of the incredible items that were delivered today! Sorry in advance for the messy room...Riley decided he wanted to play with every single toy at his disposal.

First up, the nude tulle skirt:

This beauty will definitely keep my butt at the gym, literally. The fit is amazing and would look great winterized with black tights and booties - but I wanted to showcase it with some spring/summery looks. My fave look is the striped top with the skirt.

And second, the black mummy dress:

Hawt! This dress is a stunner -  the tulle is wrapped beautifully and the fit is fantastic. It did take some work pulling the dress over the bust area, but hey, it's worth it. The dress material is soft and stretchy.

So, those are my quick reviews of Vera's handiwork. I HIGHLY recommend her pieces - they are beautiful, well-crafted and unique. Oh, and they keep you in the gym. And, what husband doesn't love a tight skirt....just sayin'...

I know Justine is expecting her gruhche purchase any day now....and I have no doubt her styling will be supa fly. You can also check out pictures of lovely Ms. Chloe rockin' out her white mummy dress right here.

I love hearing about other shoppers' favorite Etsy sellers! Please share!

Friday Special: Your Bank - Break It or Save It

Good morning, friends!

Today's edition of Your Bank - Break It or Save It features pink wrap dresses, python handbags, beaded cluster necklaces and grey suede pumps. The set on the left will foreclose your home for roughly $13,000, since that gorgeous Kara Ross python bag retails for $6,500 alone, while the set on the right retails for approximately $200.

I must say though, the DVF dress on the left is incredible, I may have to stalk that one online and wait for it to go one sale. Also, Simply Vera, Vera Wang's line at Kohl's, has some incredible jewelry for minimal prices...The Chloe Conspiracy featured some of the Vera lovlies just yesterday.

What do you think - break it or save it? Or maybe a bit of both?
